FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. Does Music Sync Mode keep bugs away too?
No. Only Amber Mode is designed to attract fewer insects. The colorful light in Music Sync Mode, especially blue and white tones, attracts insects like any light. When bugs are out, press the top button for Amber Mode.

2. Will it stop mosquitoes from biting?

Amber Mode means your light won't draw in extra insects, but it doesn't repel mosquitoes already nearby. Pair it with a fan or repellent.

3. How does music sync work?
The controller has a built-in microphone that picks up sound around it, from a speaker, a car stereo or live music, and syncs the lights to the beat. No phone or app needed.

4. What power source do I need?
Any USB-C source that outputs at least 5V/3A (15W), such as most power banks and portable power stations. Older or low-cost power banks may not supply enough current, which can cause flickering.

5. How long does it run on a power bank?
Up to 12 hours. Actual runtime depends on your power bank's capacity.

6. Can I use it in the rain?
The LED strip is IP68 waterproof and handles rain, dust and mud. The controller is not waterproof, so keep it sheltered, for example inside your tent, vehicle or a dry bag.

7. Do I need an app?
No. Everything runs from three buttons on the controller: top for Amber, middle for Music Sync, and bottom to turn it off.
